Bling Bling for the Holidays!

Well, I finally did it... Ava got her EARS PIERCED! I had been delaying it for a while and decided it was finally time. We went with my friend, Christine and her son, Eli, to the mall to get it done. I was so nervous, but was so happy to have my friend for support. Iknow, what a wuss I am! :) Anyway, here is a pic of Ava and Eli hanging out at the Food Court before we went to get her ears pierced.

Now all better and sparkly! Yay!! No more crying. :) I was so proud of her.

Autumn in Austin

I can't believe we're a week away from Thanksgiving!  Charlie and I are so excited to celebrate the holidays with Ava!

Speaking of holidays, my mom and I took Ava trick or treating around the neighborhood on Halloween.  Ava was dressed up in a pumpkin outfit.  So below are some pics of her in pumpkin suit.

A few weeks ago, Charlie and Ava met me at Flirt Boutique for the monthly "Get Made Event" that I do makeup at.  They were excited to meet the contestants of this season's "Amazing Race", Kelly and Christy.   Below of some pics with the ladies and lil Ava. :)

Ava and I visited my friend, Marina, and her cute kids a couple of weeks ago.  They loved playing with Ava, especially Isaiah on the left.

Florida or Bust!

Hey Friends and Family,

We have some great photos to share with you all from our Florida trip in the Keys! Ava did really well traveling to Florida, but the flight back was not so fun. :) Regardless, we had a blast and it was so relaxing to do basically nothing but eat, swim, and sleep. So here are some pics for you--Enjoy!

No Fear Ava Fans, Ava is Here!

Hey Family and Friends!

Sorry for taking so long to update Ava's blog, but it's finally here and we've got some exciting stories and pics to share with you all, her beloved fans!

First, I wanted to go back a few weeks and show you all some pictures from Ava and Daddy hanging out with our friend, Aaron, and his son, AJ.  They all went to the park downtown to hit the jogging trails.  It was a very hot day as usual,but that didn't stop them from enjoying the outside.  So Daddy made sure that Ava kept cool during the ride as he put a wet towel on her head the whole time.  Look how funny and cute she looks!

Also, this past Summer, my good friend, Sedre, who will be known to Ava as Aunt Sedre :=) , came into town and spent time with us at lunch one day.  She hadn't seen Ava since she was 2 months and was surprised at how much she had grown!  Here's a funny pic of them two at lunch. 

We miss you Aunt Sedre! Wish you were back in Texas.

 

Ava started eating her first solids a few weeks ago, which is rice cereal.  So I wanted to send you all a short video of her eating it for one of the first times.  Now she eats her cereal in her favorite, Bumbo Seat, which helps her now to sit upright more.  She's almost sitting by herself now.  :)

 

Charlie took a cute picture of Ava in her flower sun hat while sitting on my lap.  So here are a few of the pics of our sweet Ava!

Finally, last Friday, Ava and I had our pool playdate with some friends of mine and their lil ones.  We had a great time together and the babies loved the pool! They are such water babies. :)  Ava enjoyed the floatie in the pool, which gives her a chance to work on her tan at the same time. j/k!  Anyways, enjoy!

Summertime is Playtime!

It's me again with another update on the princess.  Well, Charlie and I just can't believe how much Ava is growing each week.  I've always heard parents talk about how much babies grow, but I never really got it until Ava came along.  She just had her 4 month dr visit last week and she weighed a whopping 17 1/2 lbs! She is also over 25 inches long, which puts her in the 90th percentile in height for her age.  Maybe she'll grow up to be America's Next Top Model! j/k!

Last Thursday, Ava hung out with Daddy all evening while I had a makeup gig.  They went to a Luau party at Charlie's co-worker's home in Lakeway.  According to Daddy, Ava had a blast enjoying all the attention from the ladies there.  Here's a pic of Ava and Daddy enjoying a father daughter date night!

 

Another day last week while Daddy was watching Ava, he laughed as he noticed Ava trying to reach her foot while sitting in her baby chair.   Successfully, Ava was able to reach her foot!

This past Sunday, we went together as a family to go swimming for the first time this Summer!  So we headed down to Deep Eddy Pool, which is a Spring fed pool so there is no chlorine in the water.  We all loved it, especially Ava!  She's a natural in the water.   Here's a couple of pics with us playing with Ava at the pool.

By the way, Ava is wearing a one of a kind bunny bathing suit with a cotton tail at the end, in case you were wondering. :)
